The scene repeats every morning of the year: slowly, 24 children go to Damaso Duarte Primary School in Los Robles, 300 kilometers south of Santiago (Chile). They are the few children who still go to classes.
A dozen children withstand long daily walks in that lonely area. The rest of the kids are a little bit lucky because they can make the trip riding donkeys. The lucky journey lasts an hour.
